All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. This includes vaccinations for rabies, parvo, and bordetella. Please have current vaccination records on-hand for the meet and greet.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
All dogs must be given regular, preventative flea treatment year-round. We've found that Advantage II is very effective.
We provide home-style, cage-free dog boarding and daycare, as well as off-leash adventures with other dogs -- so our environment is not suitable for all dogs. All dogs must be well socialized. We do not accept dogs that display any aggressive behavior. Dogs that display aggression over food or toys, for example, will be denied. We do not accept pit bulls, pit bull mixes, or other aggressive breeds -- even if they are well tempered. Clients are liable for any damages their dogs inflict on other people or animals. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at anytime without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
Our home-style dog boarding and doggy daycare services are offered from our residential home. As such, there are some behavioral issues we cannot accommodate. All dogs must be housebroken. We may refuse or terminate service due to behavioral issues including: excessive/repetitive urinating in the house, chewing apart furniture/clothes/shoes, aggressive behavior towards visitors, barking throughout the night, etc. Home-style dog boarding is not for every dog. Dogs with behavioral issues may be a better fit at a traditional kennel.
We believe that an exercised dog is a happy dog. We take the dogs to fenced off-leash dog parks most days of the week. Once a dog has been with us for a while and has bonded with us, we'll also take them off-leash hiking in the Columbia Gorge (it's like doggy heaven). So all dogs must be dog-park friendly.
All new clients must schedule a free 15-minute meet-n-greet prior to their first drop-off or trip to the Gorge. The meet-n-greet is where we get to learn about your dog, see whether your dog is a good fit for our pack, check out the vaccinations records, etc. Please have current vaccination records on-hand. To schedule an appointment, give us a call. We look forward to talking to you!
